Darby Masland joined Nonprofit New York as Programs Manager in October 2021. Prior to joining, Darby worked in education as a Peer Collaborative Teacher and Advisory Coordinator for the NYC Department of Education. She cares deeply about public education and continues to engage in learning and advocacy as an Instructional Coach for Stanford University’s Hollyhock Fellowship Program, where she works with teachers across the country to improve teacher retention rates and build community. Darby holds a B.A. in History from University of Maryland and a M.A. in the Teaching of Social Studies from Columbia University Teachers College.
