In Conversation With La’Dreamer & Daisy Helping Hands Foundation

Programs Coordinator Devon Stein spoke with LaDreamer Lark of La’Dreamer & Daisy Helping Hands Foundation Inc, a member organization of Nonprofit New York. We will continue to highlight the work of our members because we believe when your nonprofit is stronger, all of us are stronger.

Tell me about the organization and what you do.

La’Dreamer & Daisy Helping Hands Foundation Inc was founded in 2020 by a mother and daughter. Two passionate individuals that enjoy helping and giving back to the community. Founder La'Dreamer Lark (30) & Co Founder Dreamer "Daisy" Jones Lark (5) saw the opportunity to help their community thrive and took action immediately. The mission of La’Dreamer & Daisy Helping Hands Foundation Inc. is to empower and provide resources to underprivileged children through educational investments, recreational activities, job skills, student resources, and community engagement.

How many are on your team?

Servicing how many of the nonprofit population?

Where do you see your organization in the next five years or ten years?

In the next 5 years I see the organization flourishing, expanding, opening up different businesses and being able to help a lot of people.

How has partnering with Nonprofit New York helped you succeed?

Nonprofit New York is fairly new to me, but hopefully it will point me in the right direction, help me to network and expand my organization.

What are you currently working on that you want us to mention to our membership?

The next project we will be working on is Project Programming. This project will allow us to purchase a building and provide these resources and services in our own safe space. That’s why we are respectfully requesting a monetary contribution of no less than $20.00 but greater than $1,000.00. Funding will go towards purchasing a building, capital improvement, and materials such as hiring employees, providing training, books, computers, office supplies, utilities, and recreational activities. We’re actively trying to create solutions and solve problems that our community is facing.
