Nicole Proto joined Nonprofit New York in June 2023 and serves as our Operations & Administration Manager. Prior to joining, she served as an Office Administrator for the Department of Education (DOE). During her 18 years working at the DOE, she assisted in coordinating hundreds of events and programs within the public school system. Her appreciation in helping others drives her commitment to service and passion for the nonprofit sector. Nicole holds a B.A. in Sociology from Hunter College and an A.A. in Writing and Literature from Borough of Manhattan Community College/CUNY.
