POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT:
TECHNICAL THEATER ASSISTANT (FULL OR PART TIME)
Lights up, cue the music, move the set pieces and let the story unfold. The Theater at Saint Ann’s is at the heart of the school and the Technical Theater program offers students the skills and opportunities to experience the joys of creating live performances with an ensemble of peers. From building scenery, to the hanging and focusing of lights, the Technical Theater students at Saint Ann’s absorb all aspects of creating the world of a production. They take on backstage roles including ground crew, calling shows, running the lights and sound, and the programming for QLab and Ion. We are seeking an experienced Technical Theater technician, who can share their knowledge of stagecraft with Middle School and High School students, and collaborate with Theater Department colleagues on the lighting and / or sound designs for our productions for the 2023-2024 school year. The appropriate candidate will have experience with the technical rehearsal process, and will be available for evening and matinee performances on several productions throughout the school year.

We accomplish this by bringing together talented teachers with creative and motivated students.
