NYDIS is seeking a full-time Director of Client Services for our Ida Flooding Disaster Case Management Program (DCMP). The position will be based at the NYDIS offices in Midtown Manhattan. The Director will have overall responsibility for managing all aspects of NYDIS’ DCMP contracts and will report to the Executive Director. The 18-24 month contract spans 10 affected counties within New York State and includes 6 sub-contracts with provider agencies that will deliver disaster case management services to approximately 2,300 Ida flooding impacted households
Duties include:
• Manage the Disaster Case Management Program for which NYDIS is the managing agency/Prime Contractor
• Supervisor and direct a contract team of 35 employees at NYDIS
• Monitor contract deliverables to ensure compliance with contract and agency mandates and guidelines
• Provide day-to-day program oversight – ensuring that performance, outcome, fiscal, and contract targets are met within specified deadlines
• Represent NYDIS in program-related discussions with Federal and State officials as appropriate
• Provide supervision and guidance to Program Manager(s) and sub-contract agencies in carrying out responsibilities
• Provide direct supervision and management of consultant contracts
• Provide oversight of preparation and submission of all project and data entry reports and invoices
• Ensure that all staff and sub-contractors have required training to carry out a client-centric program
• Ensure that sub-contract agencies are in full compliance with contracts and contract billing
• Provide training on procedures, protocols, contractual, and administrative requirements
• Represent NYDIS to further contract priorities and facilitate collaboration in the field
• Collaborate with Executive and Finance Staff to monitor billing, cash flow projections, and budget monitoring
• Stay abreast of developments in the field to identify trends DCMP best practices and recommend resources
• Other duties as assigned

• Computer skills – proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, databases, and internet

• Any NYDIS staff who work in our office or directly with clients must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Education and/or experience:
• MSW, LMSW or related graduate degree preferred, bachelor’s degree with significant experience considered
• 3-5+ years of senior management experience in the nonprofit human services field
• Experience managing large, complex contracts
• Demonstrated experience in staff management and supervision
