Candidates seeking this position must have intermediate or expert knowledge of education policy issues or public school education practices in New York State and/or Long Island, as well as intermediate or expert level skills in at least two of the following areas: civic engagement, public advocacy, action research or civil rights advocacy.

Community Organizer – Housing

ERASE Racism is seeking a full-time Organizer to educate and mobilize residents and other organizations to support projects, proposals, and policies that increase affordable housing on Long Island; especially, housing that challenges racial segregation and discrimination.
