JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Dress for Success Worldwide is seeking a creative and data-driven Manager to join the global programs team. Reporting into the Chief Program Officer and part of an existing staff of four, the successful candidate will have 4-10 years of experience in program design, implementation, marketing, or evaluation. 

This role will assist in designing, delivering, and evaluating a program strategy that is focused on creating and delivering programming that is user-centric, scalable, fundable, and outcomes-driven. The team is focused on increasing the reach and relevance of programs and resources at the affiliate, national and global level. The ideal candidate works best on a goal-based and agile team, able to ideate inspired by broader objectives, and take ownership of workflows with an understanding of their connection to key performance indicators.

 

Essential Functions

•Contribute to the strategic direction of programs, participating in team’s goalsetting, creative concepting and design processes 

•Execute and evolve approach to data collection and analysis, program evaluation and mission measurement

•Manage program execution to ensure alignment with budget, schedule, and partner expectations

•Provide customer service and support to affiliates participating in programs, partnerships, and other initiatives

•Work closely with Worldwide Program Marketing Director to support content creation and community management for virtual offering

•Research and trend monitoring to contribute to the team’s awareness on the experiences of women—especially those from underrepresented communities—navigating the world of work

•Other duties as strategy evolves

 

Competencies

•Demonstrated experience creating and implementing user-centric programs and experiences

•Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative data surveying and concepting

•Experience in digital product management a plus, especially in technology’s role in community engagement

•Mission passion for women from underrepresented communities with the ability to interpret the core behaviors, motivators, and needs as they navigate the world of work

•Persuasive communication and presentation skills, both written and oral

•Effective relationship builder and collaborator

•Resourceful self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Required Education and Experience

•Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business, nonprofit management, or comparable experience

•Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a customer-driven, purpose-driven setting

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

 

This is a full-time position with typical work hours; the days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are times when evenings or weekends may be required due to the nature of the position. Travel is primarily local during the business day, but occasional travel may be required.

 

Work Environment

 

Due to COVID-19, this role will function in a hybrid in-person/remote schedule. The work location is New York City. Note that Dress for Success Worldwide has implemented a Mandatory Vaccination Policy and is taking appropriate measures to ensure the safety and health of our employees, volunteers, and clients in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

The hybrid work schedule will be monitored and assessed on an ongoing basis as we navigate the uncertainty of the pandemic.

 

Physical Demands

 

Employee may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This role entails errands associated with meeting logistics and setup such as supplies runs, setting up materials and refreshments for on-site and off-site meetings, etc.

 

Work Authorization

 

Must be able to show eligibility for employment in the United States within three days of hire.
