Development Officer: Job Description
Common Threads Project (CTP) is a dynamic growing nonprofit working in the humanitarian sphere. Our mission is to help women heal from the enduring psychological effects of sexual and gender-based violence in the context of war and displacement. We build local capacity through training and supervision and support local specialists to establish women’s circles and lead them through our transformative therapy process. We further the field of trauma therapy by documenting learning from our work and sharing it with others in the field. Our field operations are in Bosnia, Nepal, Democratic Republic of Congo, and we have emerging programs in Seattle and New York.
CTP works with diverse populations in both international and domestic settings, and we are building a diverse team that can approach the work with the kind of understandings that develop from lived experience. We actively seek candidates from communities of color, or those who have endured persecution, war, or displacement.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our executive team as the Development Officer. The DO will mobilize the resources necessary for the organization to pursue its mission, continue to grow, and establish a solid foundation for sustainability.
